E.Q: Research allusions made in Hamlet.
Evaluate credibility of source. 
Connect allusions to to characters in Hamlet and draw conclusions about characterization based on research.

Starter: 
To the best of your ability summarize Act Two in 3-5 sentences,


Vocabulary: 


We will review 5 words as a class, and you will also create your own unique set of terms.

You should have 30 words by the end of the unit.
For each activity box use the word in a sentence.
It will go for a grade at the end of the unit.

Activity: 


What is one-two questions that you had from the audio play yesterday?
Watch the play and try to answer your own questions. 
Once again, pay attention to the way the characters are portrayed. 

2.  Allusions

At random, you will select one allusion to research from the following list: 

Priam 
Pyrrhus
Hecuba

Complete the following steps: 

1.  Find a credible article that explains who that person is, and evaluate your source.
 Include the URL, title of article, author, website publisher, and the date written. 


2.  Explain that persons historical impact.


3.  Connect the historical figure to a character in Hamlet and explain the connection.


4.  Analyze if that character is motivated by id, ego, or superego.  Justify your classification.

Organize your information into a graphic organizer.
