Take out your allusion graphic organizer. 
Make sure that all of the parts are complete.

Vocabulary: 


We will review 5 words as a class, and you will also create your own unique set of terms.
Use Viva Vocab for this element.
You should have 30 words by the end of the unit.
For each activity box use the word in a sentence.
It will go for a grade at the end of the unit.

Activity: 

1.  Gallery Walk
We will have a gallery walk to read your classmates graphic organizers.
Take your computers or a sheet of paper with you to take notes!

You must take notes on the two characters that you did not research. 
Then, compare and contrast the notes of the character you did to someone else. 

Your notes should include the historical context and connection.

3.  Literature Circle

In literature circles you will deconstruct the scene we just listened to.
Begin by determining which people will be in your group and decide on role.
Based on your role, break out from your group and meet with the people that have the same role.
Discuss what you will talk about when you formally meet with group.

After you meet with members of the same role, you will report back to your group to share your findings. 


4.  Philosophical Chairs Prep

Topic:

Hamlet is mad (insane).

This will be the topic we discuss tomorrow. 
Find evidence to support your position on the topic. 

Closure: 

Give your literature circle a plus and delta.
