Last week we finished Beowulf.  

In your opinion, does Beowulf actually complete the hero's journey?

At your tables, read through Book Three of Beowulf. 

As you read, consider how it compares to the original text.

Also, consider how the story relates to the stages of the hero's journey.

With your table, you will complete a Beowulf's hero's journey chart. 

Also, your group must write one TPEQEA paragraph justifying whether or not Beowulf completed the hero's journey.

ROLES

Orator- Reads graphic novel. 

Scribe- Records information and checks facts.

 Investigator (Everyone Else) - Finds examples of evidence to support claim. 

2.  Beowulf Final Project 

We will go over the instructions for this project which is due next Tuesday.
You will be working on this for the next several days in class, so make sure you come prepared.
