Analyze Beowulf's identity based on these actions. 

Analyze Grendel's mothers actions.  Describe her identity.

Now that we have read the text, identify another possible theme. 

2.  Venn Diagram 

By yourself, create a Venn diagram comparing and contrasting the text to the graphic novel. 

You may consider plot, theme, characters, etc. 

You  should find at least 15 similarities and differences between the two.

3.  Beowulf 14-17

With a partner, read sections 14-17 of Beowulf.

As you read, create a double entry journal.

Focus on finding quotes that relate either to the main idea or theme of the story.

Closure: 

What was your reaction to the ending.
